Welcome to first grade
Hello families! My name is Lilly Childress, and this is my second year teaching 1st grade. My greatest goal each day is to create a classroom where every student feels safe, deeply loved, and fully supported. Together, we will build strong foundations so each child leaves ready and confident for second grade.
A few of my favorite things
When I am not in the classroom, I love relaxing with a great book, traveling to new places, and soaking up the sun at the beach. At home, I spend lots of time with my two wonderful dogs, Coco and Murph, who always keep life fun and active!
